Jerry Bures
Favorite PUSH Activity: Anything with Mission work. I love the way it changes people. Not only the people we are helping but how it changes the people doing the work. It is hard to describe the sense of pride, joy, satisfaction and value when you do mission work.
Something that most people don’t know about me: I have 7 sisters and 3 brothers, and to this day, still get along well with every single one of them! Next time you see me…ask me what the secret is!
Favorite entrée: My wife’s stir fry! Favorite chore: Cutting firewood!
Favorite Cartoon Character or Show: Can’t pick just one: Smurfs, Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch, Grape Ape, Hung Kung phooey, Laugh Olympics, Thunder Cats and He Man and She-ra!!!! Don’t forget Rocky and Bullwinkle and The Justice League!
Original Hometown: Delavan, Wisconsin—Home of several Circuses including Barnum and Bailey. Maybe that is why I am so goofy?

the right way, but he always has good intent.
Favorite PUSH Activity: I have two – pizza making and mission activities. These are my favorites since it brings the youth and our church together to serve as one unit. It always warms my heart to see how much fun the youth and their parents have, how the youth show their work ethic, and how the families work so hard together.
Favorite Color: Red and orange

Favorite Cartoon Character: Goofy – maybe this explains why I’m married to Jim! I love goofy because he can make you laugh no matter what your mood, and even though he may not always do things
Favorite PUSH memory: I can't answer that because there are too many to choose from. But I will say that I love all the great close friends I have made through PUSH.
Favorite mode of transportation: My favorite mode of transportation is a golf cart!!!!
Favorite PUSH Activity: Hands down, Pine Lake Cleanup! When it comes to mission work, I love seeing youth build their “service muscles” and make a stronger connection with God by helping others. And realize when they give of their time and talent…that they benefit just as much as those they serve. It’s really eye-opening and inspiring!
